Tier 1 ILR / SET LR query

Hello Everyone,

Can someone please advice on following situation. It will be really helpful gesture.

Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa Valid: 17/07/2019
5 Year completes: 24/01/2019
10 years completes: 04/09/2019

I am planning to apply tier 1 ILR(5 Years route) on 31/03/2019 and if they refuse after 6 month for any reason. Can I directly go for in person appointment for 10 years SET LR? Because my 10 years will complete by that time?

If you check the postings in the ILR section of the forum - indefinite-leave-to-remain/ you will find similar cases.

On what basis do you expect to be refused ? Whether you can apply for ILR (LR) will depend on that.

You are better off delaying ILR application to 16.7.2019 delaying biometrics as much as possible then varying ro LR 28 days before 4.9.2019.

But keep running business genuinely one cannot know what HO (secret internal) policy on t1e will be then. We have seen cases of LRs having issues because of their T1e period.

That means your t1e submission needs to be full amd complete....

why take risk apply 1 week before visa expiry, why are you giving them 6 months to refuse you , give me less time
