Wife's Netherland RC card

Hi - I'm british national and I live and work in the Netherlands for the last 10 months. My wife came recently to visit me on schengen visa and now I've applied her RC card a week ago. There're a couple of questions

1- I don't know how long her RC card would take. So can she go back home for few months if so how long for?

2- As I've house in the UK and I visit UK once a month. If she likes to go with me to UK what is the process for that? If she needs visa how can I apply for that?
