used local GP, do I owe money to NHS?

I used GP last month and do not have a valid leave(my file was in home office that time which was later refused), I paid for prescription, not for GP services (If I had to), I was not asked to pay or no bill sent to me. I am going back next month to apply entry clearance on spouse from outside UK, would there be any problem? Is there a way I can call NHS to find out if I owe them anything?
