Hi

We are still waiting for a response =
we applied 15th March 2018
Biometrics 22nd March 2018, Islamabad

We had a "not straightforward email" July 2018

i have called numerous time and had escalated it twice. the most recent phone call I made for an update was that they told me to wait as i had received the email in July. There is nothing more to do.
I had spoken to my solicitor and they have sent a letter to Sheffield to find out what the delay is and to say it had been the time that it has been.

just waiting now. Hope we all get good news soon.

its almost 10 months...call many times to ukvi office but same ans..wait wait and wait....

I rang today to find out what’s happening. They said the case is escalated and can take another 15 days. I’m so frustrated. I don’t understand why they are taking so long in giving the passport back. Did you get a call from HO regarding work??

If a decision has been made you are wasting your time and money contacting them. Wait 1-2 weeks for call to go collect passport.

I've been waiting since Jan too with no reply and my hubby has to do his biometrics again last week. I feel like they lost his passport that's why. I don't know wat happening alot of people applied in jan with no reply still

Sometimes the processing times for Pakistan / Asian subcontinent increases from 3 months to even 9 months. There is always changes in the processing times for these regions. It seems to usually affect Pakistan and Bangladesh more so than India.

Hi just quick update i called for staus check and they said descion has been made.

Very happy now hoping that we get good and positive response.
Finally after 8 and half months we got some good news.

Escalated case 4 times and involved M.P also 2 times.

And please pray for us to get good outcome.
Will update once we get results.
I hope we will get passport asap.

just an update biometric done on 19-Feb-2018

still waiting got this email today

We have received an enquiry regarding your application process. We cannot give a time scale for when a decision will be made, however please be assured that we are continuing to work on the application and will make a decision as soon as we are able to.
We appreciate your patience at this time, and will update you as and when we have any additional information.

No idea why it’s taking that long over 8 months.
But hoping for the best in sha allah. I prayer who ever is waiting that long can get a positive response soon too.

i have escalated my case buh they said its pending mean no decision has been made yet
this 15 its going to be full 6 months buh i kno its taking time coz most ov people getting response in 6 to 8 months my cosuin got response after six n half month just hope for the best in sha Allah

today is 39 working days.
I am the sponsor and our child was born in Uk.
My husband has 3 visitor visa on his passport which the last visa was on Nov 2017 (6months visitor)

Hope we all hear some good news soon.

Yes will let you once we get passport but we still didnot got any MSG from VFS office.

Any idea how long it take to reach passport back its already 5 days now still no news.

And if it arrives late is that mean defenetly we will get success visa as our case is very starighforward.

Please let me know if any one has any idea pls
