EEA FAMILY PERMIT & Residence Card

Post by spat » Sat Jul 06, 2019 9:24 pm

Hi,

If someone has a EEA family permit to enter the UK (Surinder Singh route) What are the chances of refusal for Residence card once arrived in the UK?

Is there any cases who refused Residence card even though they have previously accepted for EEA family Permit?

Could you please tell us a bit more about it?

I thought a residence card could be taken away if one spends fewer than some number of days in the UK (180 per year, or something) because then they conclude one's centre of life lies somewhere else.

But how could it not be given in the first place?

Have they not shown COL when they applied for initial EEA family permit?
