Travel from NL with RC to Peru and back

dear all,

my wife and me lived in Malta for 10 months and still have our Maltese 5yrs resident card.
also she has a EHIC card from MAlta.

we moved to NL 1 month ago so she has not got the Dutch resident card yet.
we have a rental agreement for a room, bank account, and not permanent BSN number.


I know if she were leave from Peru she would need return ticket, and travel insurance.

on the 19th July we have an appointment to for resident card, but it could take 3-6 months.
Possibly she will get a temporary stay stamp in her passport.
I could write a support letter, she will have our marriage certificate with her, anything else needed?


could she fly back to Peru for a short stray and return to NL with KLM (from AMS) without any issue?

-What's your wife nationality?
-Did she already travel?

Even though it's not a permanent Burgerservicenummer, it's a proof that you're a resident in the Netherlands. Tell her to travel with the registration letter from the BSN.
