Child Tax Credits changing to Universal Credit, my Husband on a spouse visa! Please help!

Hi, I’ve recently had a child. I am a British citizen and my husband is living in the UK on a Spouse visa , his FLR is due next year.

I know that I as a British can have Child Benefit and also Child Tax Credits. I already receive Child Benefit but I’ve held off Child Tax Credit as it has been announced it will change to Universal Credit.

It concerns me that there is no clear guidance whether it will affect future extension of leave application.

Can anyone help and give some advice please I would be most grateful.
