Tier 4 general student visa new rule

I want to enrol for masters in the UK from 2020 and as per the new rule there will be 2 Years work visa after completion of studies for 2020-21.
There are 2 intakes per year in the UK i.e. January and September. If I enrol for January 2020 intake then is the new rule applicable, will i get 2 years work visa after completion of my studies?

There is no specific information about this yet, and there is unlikely to be any until shortly before the Statement of Changes.

Many news sites are giving conflicting information about this so it's best to wait for official confirmation regarding the same.

I haven't read any conflicting information on news sites, just lots of pointless and incorrect speculation on user-generated forums like this!

Like it or not, the news articles are a mix of facts and small doses of speculation. This leads people to do the same whether it be pointless, incorrect or accurate. As I said before and you stated at the end of your post, best to wait for official confirmation.

Both those stories are saying the same thing, which is the same as the government news stories and the UKCISA news wall. I think you are conflating date of intake with date of implementation of the new route.

In short, the route will start in 2021, so the first people to be eligible will be those completing a one-year Masters from the 2020/21 intake.
