Eligibility for Schenegen visa

Post by Dilsher singh » Tue Feb 04, 2020 6:30 am

Hey ..
Can someone help me. I am from India and I am currently inadmissible to Canada(one and half year left)on the basis of misrepresentation. Moreover, my wife is currently in Canada on her open work permit. Additionaly, I have some travel history in past three years(dubai, thailand and malaysia). We want to apply for vacation in Europe.
I wanna ask,
1.Should we both apply for visa or myself only?

2.will my inadmissibility effect my application to get a schenegen visa?

Thanks in advance.

What do you mean? Is your wife a visa national? If she requires a visa to enter the Schengen zone and does not currently hold a Schengen visa, then yes, she will have to apply for one.

It might. If asked about any declined visas, etc. do not lie or you might add to the countries you are inadmissible in.

My wife is an Indian resident and she is working in Canada on open work permit. Will it be ok to apply with my wife or I should apply by myself?
And
Will they ask "about the countries I have applied in past " i n an interview or application form.?
And what are the chances of getting a visa for me?

I don't understand what you are saying. How is your wife an Indian resident while working in Canada? What is her nationality?

If you are both residing in India you can apply together, sure.

your message is not clear buddy and let me get this straight.

You're an Indian Citizen living in India.
Your Missus is an Indian Citizen working in Canada (has got a Canadian work permit).

You cannot travel to Canada due to lack of visa (banned and cannot apply anytime sooner) and therefore you both want to travel to Europe together and would like to apply for Schengen visa, correct?

You can apply for Schengen visa which shouldn't be a problem. However, they might ask you the reason for the Canadian inadmissible reason and when it happened.

Btw, Schengen visa is not expensive. Yes, you've to list the last visited countries but not for every embassy. Check few embassies application form and that should give you an answer.
