Official announcement from Swiss Government. Available here in German / French and Italian. No English version at the moment:

https://www.admin.ch/gov/fr/accueil/doc ... 78481.html

Note:

- The title says that Switzerland won't deliver any Schengen visa until further notice.
- In the text, they set an initial period of 90 days where they won't deliver visas.

Exceptional provisions are made for medical specialists/Doctors and family members of Swiss nationals who already have the right to reside in Switzerland.

It's possible that this no-visa policy will be carried to the entire Schengen area.

France:
The official notice was just published on this official website (.gouv.fr):

https://france-visas.gouv.fr/web/france ... oronavirus

- All visas suspended until further notice
- This suspension includes Schengen visas short/long stay for France and its overseas territories
- Are also concerned all applications already placed

Germany:
The notice is posted through its official visa processor Visametric:

https://www.visametric.com/uk/Germany/e ... engen-visa

It allows some exceptions for healthcare professionals, frontier/border workers, transport/haulage personnel, humanitarian worker, transit passengers, imperative family reasons, diplomats and other people in need of international protections.

They seem to still take applications but they need to be accompanied by a statement as to why the travel should be considered essential.

I don't think there is much point in checking all countries one-by-one. Netherlands, Roumania, Hungary, Austria... are cancelling all appointments. There is nothing published at the moment for Spain, Portugal, Greece, Estonia, Czechia... but I believe they are all heading to the same direction.
