It seems I submitted straight away, so no can do

I received an email today from ukvi that they have received the application and is being considered.

Is it generic common email or it goes under process?

Generic automated.

I was just wondering if we can follow up for child registration status the same as naturalization?

Any email address?



Do we get exactly at what stage it is or just “in process”?


And is it just for status follow up or we can bargain and provide our excuse to have quicker decision?

Citizenship applications may take up to 6 months. You can ask for an update after 6 months.

After 6 months,Really? Wasn’t it for settlement? I assumed for BC we can send status update any time after biometric submission

No. Your assumption is not correct.

The registration certificate will be sent by royal mail. Signed one or just they leave it in the mail box?

Me again.


I got my son’s registration certificate today and I applied for his first british passport.

1: there was an option for the title, master and miss. I selected master. I’m not sure if its right, if its not, anyway to change it?

2: I have a friend who is director of a company and he received email from HO to identify my son and after his online details filling, we received an email saying that He is Not eligible. Any reason if you have faced this issue before? Can I get it a go through my Accountant ?
