Biometric submission via IDV app

Post by Qayssar1980 » Mon Jun 21, 2021 5:51 pm

Hi all,
I have a question and would appreciate a quick answer as I am panicking,

I submitted my naturalisation application (me and my family )within the UK on 15th September 2020, 4 days later (on 20th September 2020) I had to travel outside the UK on 23rd September 2020, I received an Invitation link to submit our documents via IDV app, my family uploaded their documents and pictures from within the UK, and I did for myself (but I was the last one and I submitted the whole application from outside the UK for myself and my family, till now I haven’t received any response from Home office, do you guys think that submitting the documents via IDV from outside the UK would have an effect on decision time or would it result in a refusal for my application?
Thanks

I cannot specifically comment on the use of the IDV app but I shouldn't think that has any impact on your application - if the submission wasn't successful UKVI should have contacted you to advice. You probably have been in contact with UKVI in the meantime - perhaps an email to this address may trigger a reply: NationalitySupportTeamFMT@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
