Impossible to get US Embassy Appointment (London)

Hi,

Can anybody provide any advice on how you get an appointment at the embassy. It's impossible. Once the appointments are made available they are immediately fully booked.

It seems there is a secret group that seem to get info of appointments before the general public!

My wife needs a passport appointment and more crucially we need to register my daughter's birth. The stimulus package offers $1,200 for any US child born in 2021.
