Just thought I'd share my timeline and details if it helps anyone.

Arrived in the UK on an EUSS family permit on 5th July.
Applied for EUSS: 6 July (spouse is Irish with pre-settled status since 2019)
Biometrics: 1 August
EUSS family permit expired: 10 August

Called up EU resolution centre multiple times in the past 2 months and got the standard responses - "you have to keep waiting for the COA", "we can't share any timelines", etc. I needed a COA urgently as my employer was giving me a hard time about proving my right to work.

My employer did a right-to-work check around 13 August. They received a "negative" response in early September.

Requested MP for help: 23 September
MP's office responded on 27 September that they have weekly meetings with the Home Office on Wednesday afternoons and that they would escalate my case.

MP replied on Wednesday 29 September evening that the Home Office was still in the ID verification stage of my application. The MP committed to following up at every weekly meeting (which I thought was great service).

Received COA: 4 October
Received pre-settled status: 4 October (weirdly, just an hour after the COA)

In all it took 3 months since I submitted the application and 2 months since biometrics, although I suspect it would have taken a lot longer if the MP hadn't escalated.

Hi! How did you request help from MP? how did you and where did you find the information to contact them?

Hello everyone,

I am in urgent need please do reply. My husband is eu citizen who holds settled status since this year And I am non eu, I have applied for Eu settlement and received my COA yet waiting for my decision.

My husband received an email saying as he is eu he can bring his family members to Uk.
My parents are dependent on us and I would like to bring them here on family permit they live in India. I have no idea how to apply for family permit based on my husband.

How long does it take to apply for family permit? And as my parents are dependent on us what prove do we need to give? Can someone pleAse explain us the procedure. It will be a big help thank you

Hi Everyone,

Applied for EUSS Family Permits For my wife, 2 kids, and step daughter (kids are all dependents).
Application from USA.
I have pre-settled status.
My marriage and kids were all before Dec 31, 2020.

Timeline:
Online application: May 5, 2021
Biometrics: June 22, 2021
Received "Application forwarded to UKVI Email" from vfsglobal: June 30, 2021
Received "UK Visa Application - Receipt Acknowledged Email" from liverpoolvisainfo@fcdo.gov.uk: Sept 7, 2021

No further communication received as of Oct 27, 2021.

Anyone received their Visas that have similar timelines?

Thanks!
Evan

Think I am in same position I got my COA May 11 no decision yet I contacted resolution centre..They responded Do Not Reply: Settlement Scheme Resolution Centre

Having investigated your query, we can confirm that, so far, our enquiries have not been completed in respect of your application.

You will be notified directly should any further documentation be required in order to reach a decision on your case and we would, therefore, recommend that you follow any instructions with which you may be provided, when prompted to do so.

To ensure that no correspondence is overlooked, please keep checking the Junk and Spam folders, as well as the Inbox of the relevant email account, regularly.

As soon as the Home Office is in a position to conclude your case, then notification of our decision will be sent with immediate effect.

So am still waiting
find this totally strange so I have decide to share it.. I applied for Settle status below is my timeline.
COA may 11. 2021
And I just received this I applied with a valid BRC.got COA the BRP got expired during the long wait 5month.Please any advise will be appreciate on how to proceed.
This is stressing me as I have been on this settlement issue since last year.
Dear xxxxxxxxxx

When completing your application to the EU Settlement Scheme you stated that your nationality was Nigeria and that you hold a valid Biometric Residence Card (BRC) RE*******.

It is noted however that RE***** expired on RE*****. Therefore, your BRC is not valid.

BRC RE******* has now been cancelled and returned to the relevant department.

As a national of Nigeria you are required to either hold a valid Biometric Residence Card (BRC) or enrol biometrics.

As you do not have a valid BRC you now need to enrol your biometrics.

To allow this, we have rejected your application (insert UAN) and you now need to submit a new application to the EU Settlement Scheme as a national of Nigeria who does not have a BRC.

When you submit your new application please ensue that you state your nationality is Nigeria and please ensure you state that you do not hold a valid BRC. You will be prompted to create an account at SOPRA Steria, book an appointment and enrol your biometrics.

Yours sincerely

UKVI European Casework

I see! I was planning to write a letter to a MP to escalate or get an update regarding my situation. But somebody replied to a thread that I created saying it’s not gonna be any useful. So I think we just have to wait :|

I got my pre settled in 2019 just like you. I applied in May for settled. Got COA on 28 July and still waiting! This is frustrating

Yeah very happy with the speed actually compared to what many of us go through!
We only submitted the usual like on the pre-settled request 2 years ago which was our marriage certificate and linking my partner's application to my UUID.

Didn't even add bank statements etc. but since my partner is working fulltime i think they mostly relied on the automated feedback from DWP/HMRC and the marriage certificate and that was it
