Student relationship declaration on application form

Hi , my younger brother is going to apply for student visa and my elder brother is also living and settled in uk. Study visa agent said to my younger brother that don't show your relationship with any person living in uk and he is confused that what to do, he should declare brother is living there or not?if he hide this information then imigration officer can check family detail or not??

Your brother needs to get advice from the university, not this agent.

They will be very interested to know that their agents are encouraging students to use deception in their applications.
