Hi all,
Can dependent travel if main applicant submitted the ILR application? Dependent still have valid BRP until next year?
Once the ILR approved their old BRP still be valid ? Can they enter into UK?
Thanks

Your application has no bearing on their visa status. They can travel and return as long as they hold a valid visa

Thanks Zimba.
One more question in case for any reason if my ILR refuses. Will their visa still be valid and will they allow to enter into the UK. My and their visa still valid until 2023.
Thanks

No. I repeat that your application has NO bearing on their visa status

Thanks for your clarification.
So you mean if I have my visa (Skilled Visa)valid until next year and if I have made a second application for ILR and for any reason this will be refused as long as I have a valid visa for myself and Dependent can stay and enter in the UK.
ILR refusal no impact on current visa my current visa valid until it will expire.
Thanks

Hi, I'm still waiting from 160 days. Was your case straightforward?

I haven't got any email from home office about my case is complex. From last five year i working from same employer and no issue.
In the past has one rejection but since then i have issued stay.
Is your case straight forward ?

Applicants aren't the ones to decide if case is straightforward or not. Do exercise patience as delays on record on every route

Children born in the Uk do not need ILR. They can now be registered as British directly using form MN1

For applying MN1 does my child need valid passport?
I am planning to apply for them this month but one of my child passport expiring in Feb 2023. Does my kids need valid passport until they will get UK passport ?
Is there impact if remain on expiry passport ? I can understand they can't travel of leave the country.
Thanks

Please start a new post in the British citizenship forum. MN1 is a nationality application NOT an immigration application. There is no limit for travel at all. There is no need for a valid passport
