Received reply to my mail from BHC:

The enquiries on your application are complete. The application is waiting in a queue to be assessed by the Entry Clearance Officer. We will keep you updated on the outcome of the same.

Applied on Oct 3rd.
Integra: no idea.

All,

I have got my T1 visa finally

my time lines are
Application: T1 FRESH
Applied on: 06/10/08
Applied from chennai vfs
Integra call received: HR and I got called on 09/06/10 and again my HR got called the last week of October
Integra verification got completed on 31/10 (they replied to my mail not sure about the exact date)
Sent numerous mails to BHC, most of the time it was just decision is pending, from 31st oct it was integra has been completed and is in queue. I called them some time in the first week of November and I was told to wait for 3-4 weeks. On 10/10/08, mailed bhc again, same reply that got integra completed and is in a Q.
On 11/11/08, checked the VFS site and found that my application has been processed and was delivered to Blue Dart on 11/11/08
12/11/08 got my papers and my passport stamped with T1 visa.
Visa was stamped on 10/10/08, puzzling thing is BHC on 10/10/08 had replied to my mail stating that application is in still in a queue and they can't give me a time frame.
Anyways really happy that I got my visa, thanks to all on this forum for helping, especially to Cheekychick, thank you for your support during my time of extreme stress, hope you all get the visa very soon. If you want my help do let me know.

Hi All,

I had applied for Tier 1 - General Migrant Visa on 3rd October.

My visa application have been refused on 14/11/2008 due to lack of maintenance of funds on a particular day (21/7/2008- this day only).

Administrative Review:

My Application for entry clearance as a Tier1 (General) Migrant has been rejected onParagraph 245C of the Immigration Rules.

My claim period was from 03/07/2008 to 03/10/2008.

"REFUSAL OF ENTRY CLEARANCE" letter states that "Minimum balance maintained during the 3-month period is Rs.2,31,249 as on 21/07/2008
(UK equivalent is 2719.49 GBP)" .Apart from this particular day, My balance was didn't go below the required amount.

1. My question here is, if I go for Administrative Review, Can I submit new bank statement from 14/08/2008 to 14/11/2008? During this period, my fund maintenance is as per the guidance.

Fresh Application:

During this rejection, I have received my passport only. Other documents pertaining to Qualification, Previous Earnings, English Language
Requirements, etc are retained by BHC. And point claimed for these sections has been awarded by BHC.

2. Can I make fresh application immediately without appealing Administrative Review?

3. If I make a fresh application, I could only submit Bank Statement for Fund Maintenance. Does the other documents retained by BHC will be taken into consideration?

4. How the fund maintenance is assessed? Currency Conversion Rate at the date of making application is taken into accoount or balance must be
equal to the each day conversion rate?

For Example,
If 1 GBP is 85.3 INR on 03/08/2008, my balance must be Rs.2,38,840?
If 1 GBP is 87.3 INR on 04/08/2008, my balance must be Rs.2,44,440?
OR
If 1 GBP is 83.4 INR on the date of making the application, Rs.2,33,520 is sufficient balance for each day during the 3 month?

I kindly request you to suggest me for the above 4 questions. I got very confused over these questions.

Please advice me

Yesterday I received my passport with Visa Stamped from 02Jan2009 to 2012 (I gave travel date as 02-Jan-2009)

Time lines

Applied :October 10, VFS Hyderabad. (Tier 1 General Fresh Appl.)
VFS Status: Application is forwarded to BHC on 10-Oct-2008.
Intergra: No idea
VFS Status: Processed application delivered to Bluedart on 12-Nov-2008.

I was in Bangalore so I collected the passport yesterday.

Got the same mail from BHC. I am getting really worried now as i need to return to work on the 24th of november. My employer is not willing to extend my leave.

Hi,

Couple of minutes back I got a replay to my mail saying "I am writing to inform that you have been granted entry clearance. The passport will be despatched later today"

Integra Verification Report - 11th November, I received mail saying the report got completed.

Hi guys called BHC today, They have said that it will take another 2weeks for my application to be processed. Dont know why its taking them so long. This means ie lost my job. Hurray!!! 3cheers for me.

Dear All,

I have applied for Entry Clearance after getting HSMP approval letter. I had got HSMP approval letter dated 23rd April and I applied for Entry Clearance at VFS Ahmedabad at 14th Oct 2008. (It was painful to wait for 3 months to maintain a balance).

Now can someone tell me how much time does it generally take to process applications with HSMP approval letter? It has already been a month and whenever I go to VFS site to check for application status, it just says that application has been forwarded to British High Comission. Nothing else has been updated after that. Would I see any updates or would they just process the application and say that it has been couriered to me? Also is there any other way I can check status of my application? I have been reading that people are calling HO... Can I call HO for my application and if yes, what is the number of HO? Also can I apply for urgent treatment now? If yes, how? Please help.

For chennai BHC contact (044) 42192308 and 42192310 are open on all working days Monday to Thursday between 0830-1130hrs and Friday 0830 - 1030hrs.

Final Status :Approved

Passport Received Date : 19th Nov

Looks like quite a few October applications have been processed. Chennai seems to have suddenly picked up pace in processing times.

Any idea about processing time at New Delhi, BHC? Anyone, who applied for fresh tier 1 in Delhi in Sep/Oct and got through?

I applied along with my wife as dependant on 3rd oct from vfs bangalore. Yesterday my status changed to "delivered to blue dart". Hoping to get it today/tomorrow.

But my wifes application status is still the same and got an email reply saying "I am writing to inform that your application is pending for further enquiries. We will keep you updated on the outcome of the same."

Any idea what this status is and how long does it take?

Guys,

I applied on 7th October to bombay BHC. They got the report on 18th October. Still result is pending.

I called at BHC and they told me Integra is over and they got the report. now General inquires are going on.

Also I didnt get any mail so far from BHC about various status of my application as some of the other members got. also my status on VFS visa application tracker is not not changes since I applied. I am checking my status at http://www.vfs-uk-in.com/. is it the right site?
