Dependant BRP Not Received

Hi All,

I had applied for my minor kid's visa as PBS, Start-up, Innovator or Global Talent dependant child. It has been 5 months that I have not received the BRP. In April I received an email saying that Visa Application was successful under wrong category i.e. Temporary/Charity Worker Dependant category. Then within 10 days after not receiving the BRP I filled out the form for not receiving the BRP. I got the response saying that query has been forwarded to the case worker. I have not received any response to since then.

Any other way to inquire about the status of BRP.

Timeline
May - visa applied
April - Visa granted under wrong category
April - BRP not received query made
April - Received response saying case worker will get in touch directly.

Please help.

Finally, after a long wait of 7+ months my kid's BRP is received.

I filed a complaint twice, I talked to an MP to help me out. But it looks like home office takes its sweet time to process the application based on the priority and workload they handle. Being patient is the key.
