Sequence of Formalities British Citizenship to OCI

Could some one kindly highlight the sequence of formalities.

just applied for naturalisation..

now need to know what sequence to get the oci card and surrendering the indian passport

You need to wait until you are British and have your British passport before you can surrender your Indian passport and apply for OCI.

i have doubt in there when it comes to oci. once i get british passport do i need to get surrender certificate before apply for oci card ? are those two are two different steps where i need to do one after other.. will both be through vfs and shall i do both on same time or i need to get surrender certificate and then only can apply for oci ?
