Landlord details for skilled worker visa application

Hello, I am just wondering why landlord details are required for skilled worker visa application process as I think it is something new. Does anyone know the answer?

Is this asked by the employer?

It doesn't make any sense.

It was asked in the skilled worker visa application form when I selected 'I rent it' for the question about the current address.

Note that we do not have access to the online forms at will.

What are the questions exactly that you have answered and being asked in the form, as they appear?
