ILR from Tier 1 Exceptional Promise Minimum Income

Post by ywlai2023 » Sat Jun 03, 2023 1:34 pm

Hello,

When applying for ILR from a Tier 1 Exceptional Promise visa, is there a minimum income requirement, or does one only have to show that they've worked and earned money in their endorsed field?

Forgive me if this is a stupid/obvious question--I've already looked up the information on the government website, but I just want to double check that I understand it correctly before I apply.

Thanks!

ILR "Problems with immigration to countries other than the UK" Question

Post by ywlai2023 » Fri Nov 24, 2023 2:35 pm

In the ILR online application, there is a question under "Problems with immigration to countries other than the UK" where they ask if you were "required to leave any country other than the UK" "for any reason". I'm assuming they mean if you were required to leave specifically due to an immigration/legal problem?

I used to live in the US on a student visa but transferred to a UK university. I left the US before my US visa expired and followed all rules and protocols, and I did not have any legal or immigration problems. Do I need to list that, because technically I was "required to leave the country"?
