HI,
My wife and kid are on skilled worker dependant visa and I have ILR via Tier 2 general route. My wife's visa expires only on January 2024. Can we apply for extension, 4 months before visa expiry?
We are planning to travel during that time so want to renew the visa early.
She only needs another 1.5 years to get ILR.
Please advise.

Hi CR001,
Thank you very much for your reply!
So basically can we extend any time before the dependant visa expires?

Hi
I got British citizenship in 2021 via Tier2 General route. I want to extend my wife's skilled worker dependant visa.
In her application, they are asking the following questions about me which I am not sure about what to answer.
1) "Does (me) already have their Skilled worker visa?"
I only had Tier 2 general visa in the past. Should I say yes ?
2) "Do you have Me UAN?"
Which UAN I should provide, my ILR UAN or Tier 2 general application UAN?
Please advise on what should I answer for the above questions.
Thank you,
Karthik

1) "Does main applicant already have their Skilled worker visa?"

2) "Do you have main applicant's UAN?"
Which UAN I should provide, my ILR UAN or Tier 2 general application UAN?
3) I want to extend the skilled dependant visa for my child as well. What to answer for the question
"Have any of main applicant's children already applied?"
Please advise on what should I answer for the above questions. It would be really helpful as I have less time to apply before October 4th.
Thank you,
Karthik

Yes as it's T2 that became SWV

Any you provided will be linked to you.

If already applied Yes, if not its No

Thank you very much for a quick reply!
I have got an additional question regarding the application.
In my wife's application, there this below question
Are any of partner's(me) children applying with you?
I said yes.
There is only brief mention of my child's details i.e name and passport number.
In this case, should we have to fill out an entirely new application for our child ?
Please advise.
Thank you in advance.

Hi CR001, thank you very much for the reply.
When we applied for dependant visas 3 years ago, we were able add applicant 1(partner) and applicant 2(pbs child) to one consolidated application.
Right now my child is only 3 years old, should I still create a separate account for her using her BRP and create a new application? How will it get linked to my wife's application?
Please advise.
Thank you.

It is not all applications or route that allows joining or adding other dependants or applicants under 1 application.

Hi,
I am applying to extend skilled worker dependant visa for my partner and child at the same time from inside UK.
I am doing 2 separate applications, one for my partner and one for my 3 year old child via ID check app. I am British citizen via Tier 2 general route.
I have this below questions regarding Child dependant visa application.
1) "Are either of your parents applying for a visa to come to the UK?"
My wife is in UK and extending the visa at the same time. Please advise what should I answer to this. Should I say Yes/No.
2) Which process is quicker these days, appointments or ID check app? Please advise.
Thank you.
