Can i enter in UK with less 3 months of visa left

Hi there,

I am on HSMP (currently in UK) expiring end of this this year. I wanted to go on holidays for 2 weeks and wondering if can I enter in UK with less than 3 months of VISA left on my passport (expiring on 2015).

Thank you SKUK, basically i heard you have to have 6 month left on your VISA, may be I am confuing passport expiry with VISA expiry? Please comment.

The 6 months criteria is for passport and not visa.

To add to this, the 6 months criteria for passports is normally enforced when you are applying for a Visa for a country. If you have received the Visa, then you can travel with less than 6 months validity on passport. Tell the Immigration Officer that you will get it renewed in the country where you are a resident.

yes you can. I returned back to Uk after holidays with just 5 weeks left for visa enquiry...the immigration office may just enquire if you wish to entend your stay...thats it..
