Planning to apply for Dependent VISA what is the procedure

Hi All,
I want to apply for student dependent VISA, as my wife is studying in UK. I have few queries,

1) what are the documents I need to produce.
2) when I'll get the VISA, what'll be the stipulated time for that I'll get the VISA as my wife is having VISA till May-2011.
3) what is the minimum fund I need to show, as I thought of showing it from my bank account.
4) What is the minim duration of the fund need to be shown is it for 28 days or 3 months.
5) Where I can get the formats of the documents.
