South African to get work permit for Ireland?

I am a South African female wanting to go and work in Dublin, Ireland. I would like to know how easy it is to accquire a work permit and how I could go about it. I have previously vistited Ireland but overstayed my welcome although was never deported as I was not working whilst in Ireland. I returned home of my own free will. I would really like to return to Dublin and work but am wanting to do it legally and without hassle. Please could you help....
