submitting passport after appeal allowed

We have received the call letter to submit passports (pakistan) it says put intended date of travel, we are wondering if we can request a delay in the visa issued untill april next year as my inlaws are elderly and we are now coming to winter, has anyone experienced this? any advice please will be appreciated!

What visa is that? Settlement or visit visa?
