how arrogant! in that case applying your logic...dont complain about anything or anyone regardless of where u marry

for the record two of my friends who married brits are now divorced and married guys who are pakistani nationals

grass is always greener on the other side after a bad experience
Firstly, there is no application needed for anything I said. It's simple, there is no point being rude and behaving in an uneducated manner and throwing a rant at everyone on the forum based on on your own life's decisions.

Regarding your friends, that's just your word. There is no need to take offence from every little comment that is made as they are generic and not based solely on you. There is no point getting upset on the internet.

If the grass is greener then marry a Brit!

This is what I can think of right now;

1) Clearly state you and your wife's name with passport number's( coz passport numbers are unique to a person) that u'd like to sponsor your wife etc etc
2) Things about you for instance what u do ur job, where will you and your wife be living once she's in the UK
3) After u've explained about financial circumtances and all the most important; ur marraige. If its love explain how its developed over time and you got married on this date etc
If its arranged jus b straight forward how it happened, talk about time spent with wifey afta the wedding as in how long u stayed for, u wud av stayed for longer but couldn't for work commitments etc
Its basically all about providing them info which shows its a genuine marraige.

Your sponsorship letter doesn't have to b all robotic u can always talk about future plans financ related as well as how ur looking forward to your wife coming over to the UK to live with you so u can start ur marital life properly..
Hope it helps:)

I can't believe the state of this forum...

Stop bickering on here, theres no need, you are not children. People come on this forum looking for help and advice on immigration... they are not looking for advice on whether they should marry from pakistan or here.. that is everyones individual choice

Use the forum for its intended purpose plz

I always visit this part of the forum just incase someone has got any latest updates etc..

Please guys could you refrain from personal jibes.

If you really want to have a go at each other then use the PM facility.

Last two pages have been complete nonsense which don't help anyone at all.

Anyhow back on the topic, application tracker website is back in working order.

They are really taking a toll on applicants these days though, hopefully applicants on Dec/Jan will get a response very soon.

At this rate it looks like we all will be waiting over the supposed 12 week duaration.

One or two people are just one or two posts away from being banned completely. They know who they are as a number of their posts have been deleted.

Any more posts by anyone that not beneficial to forum members will be deleted. If you want to, use PM instead to each other

The general agreement amongst solicitors is that if you did not have communication prior to your wedding, then you should state that and not lie or try and put together things which would be false. It's very common for there to be no communication between husband and wife prior to the Nikah in South Asia, particularly Muslim countries.

If you plan on applying more than 1 month after the wedding, then you will definitely have to prove contact. This would be in the form of pictures of your time together if you were together for that one month together, or alternatively evidence of calls and other modes of communication.

Even if they do reject you at this point, we have discovered that sometimes they do, it's a silly reason and it will be overturned in the appeal.

If you are using lyca mobile, if you register online they have a itemised calls option also you can request a itemised bill from lyca for a cost of 5.00 each for every month you require a bill. You can request a bill even if you are on pay as you go on lyca mobile.

i think lyca mobile call history 'll be ok & if u communicate through skype or yahoo then give them their printouts as well as they 'll help u too. but lyca is fine i think.
