PSW DEPENDANT MAINTANANCE FUND

Hello,
I wish to apply for dependancy visa for myself and my children with my wife as the main applicant. Her PSW will expire August 2014. I need a clarification on how much maintanance fund we require for the application. My wife had been in UK since Jan 2011 for he rMasters after which she switched to the Tier 1.
I've read the guidance note severally but look so clumsy to me so I neee a definite answer.
