Received passports for kids today 14/05/13 dated 10/05/13 its very quick received with in 2 weeks of application. But one of the child passport surname printed wrong. I have to send her passport back to them for correction and waiting for my and my wife interview call letter.

I called IPS today, they told me they have received my application on Friday only but in my discussion they told me I should expect the interview letter in about 4 weeks time from date of application, is that case with every one else as well.

Going by the timelines for April/May so far, seems most applicants received correspondence from the IPS within 7 - 10 working days of submission.

I used my PO check and send on 2 May and have heard nothing at all to date - no confirmatory SMS, no interview letter, no return of docs.

Should I be slightly concerned?

Date of receipt of interview letter: 17.05.2013 (three letters arrived with an invitation to book an interview, but as there was a spelling mistake in one of them we now need to wait for its correct version to come and only then can book an interview for all three of us)

Date of passport receipt: 17.05.2013 - a child passport arrived - only after 1 week of waiting!

May be u need to call them and confirm did they received ur applications. Atleast u should have receive an acknowledgement text saying they received ur application. How did u submitted ur application through did u posted ur self or used a post office checking services. Hope everthing goes well for u.

Thanks. I have rung them and all's OK. I was informed that an interview booking letter was sent out yesterday which should arrive by mid week.

Can anyone tell me if I already received my appointment letter, does that mean that my application has been processed and accepted, or is identity checking another part of the processing?
