you should receive ur biometric with in 4 weeks. Normal range 2 to 4 or 5 weeks max. Be cool. soon you should receive urs.

Hi,

No, I don't have to do english test as i had a UK Master Degree.

Below are the documents i applied with.

1. Application form - dated 28.10.2013
2. Life in UK
3. Master Degree from UK
4. Employment letter ( THis is Optional )
5. 2 Photos
5. 2 Passports ( Current and previous)
6. Current BRP

My Personal history for 10 yrs is

5 years - Student
2 years - PSW
3+ years - HSMP

Holidays
went out of UK 9 time
Total out = 310 days in 10years
Maximum days out in one journey = 44 days

I'm writing to request information about my ability to seek full time employment whilst my application is pending with the home office. Under the rules, your existing visa status still applies if application was made prior to expiration. I recently applied for an indefinite leave to remain under the 10 year criteria however I've been a student for the whole duration, with a tier 4 visa my most recent status. Could you please clarify if I can seek employment? I have a couple of interviews lined up with some top companies and I don't want to waste their time and mine if I'm not eligible. Many thanks in advance!

Right Champs, I have been told by HO that they are posting me my 'Package' today in second class delivery.

Lets see when I get to see my baby! and if they have refused it. I have been given a tracking number. The only thing which is worrying me is that normally they send you a letter and then the documents. But assuming the package means my passport and the visa? or passport and rejection letter! I am bewildered!

I shouldnt have called HO I must admit, curiosity killed the car and now until the 'bloody package' arrives I will be standing on a tight thread!

I am in the same boat as you. I applied on 30th September and got the acknowledgement letter on 30th September. Still waiting for my biometric letter. I'm planning to wait another week and then ring as it will be over six weeks.

There is no apparent reason, my case is straight forward. its natural to have fear of the worst spoiling the actual moment!

Honestly, if this had not been for this forum. the wait would have been a misery! to me time just flew and it puts you to place when you look at other people like Amjadleeds who are waiting longest.

i applied on 15th July too but the bio-metric was done on 30th. It seems the factor to look at for date is when you did your bio metric. they seem to have sent mine in post and i hopefully be getting on 14th November.

Congrats!

UKBA has really sped up recently haven't they! I hope they will continue as I am expecting to get mine next month or early January.

Want to head to the Philippines and see my friends and help rebuild villages where they were destroyed in the recent typhoon. Still haven't heard from them since Friday.
