This is one of my friend's timeline am posting here so this one is not mines as mines has been approved and ceremony booked already.

Eligibility criteria: ILR 3 years (Received from Spouse)

So this is my friend timeline, we submitted our application at the same time and now we have both been booked to attend the ceremony on the same date.

I also decided to post his timeline because I wanted all those people who applied within our batch and that's from October 21st- October 25th 2013, that it looks as though things are really moving in the HO now. My advice is that based on average, it's taking the HO one month from the date they debited your account to approve your application. So all those in this batch who had their fees debited in December your approvals will probably be on its way as January has not finished yet. If you were debited in January then at least give it till February but lets hope it comes before then.

So I just thought I would help to ease and relax some nervous minds, am sure your brown letter is on its way just don't fret am sure it will drop through your door when you least expect it.

Date of Receipt of Approval: Hopefully soon!. I have seen a pattern that it is taking atleast 30 days from date of debit of fees to the issuance of approval letter, lets hope we all get our approvals within the same timelines.

From the information in this forum it looks like the approvals are granted about one month after the fees are taken from your account. So hopefully in a month I will update this post with the missing info.

If you have your degree taught in English available on Tier 1 G points calculator showing 10 points or it is so verified by UK NARIC it never expires and it is equal to C1. Therefore I rather used it as 100% in spite of my IELTS, yes you had passed IELTS ( above required B1) and have been living in the UK since then but to me it could still be in the grey area as the document used itself has an expiry date of 2 years given in it, a document speaks for itself.

Finally with surprise and happy, I received the approval letter from HO.

by looking at previous cases it seems aproval is taking 4 weeks on average from date of debiting the fees. this is for straight forward cases
