RE-OCI collection

Post by gj6ab5657 » Thu Dec 05, 2013 8:28 pm

Dear Superior/Board members,

I have applied for OCI and processed and back to Birmingham. I have sent my Original British passport+other document and they have reached at Birmingham on 3/12/13. Does any one know how many days takes time to my passport and OCI card back at home? for your information I have used Royal mail special delivery prepaid envelop for to and from destination.

please does any one know what is the time scale? (today 5/12/13 no sign of tracking my post)

Thank you in advance

Did you make a note of the special delivery ref# on the return envelopes?

Hi! There,

Yeah, I have received my documents back safely. If you send pre-paid royal-mail envelop with your returning address HCI OCI dept. will send you back within 10-15 working days I was worried when I had sent my original passports & documents but this process is normal and wait patiently is most medicine.

Hi Gj6ab5657,

If more than one member of a family have sent their passports for OCI stamping, do they need to send as many envelopes or will just one envelope suffice?

Thanks.

No-Just one pre-paid sign-for envelop is enough for family members, mine was 2+2 submitted in only one envelop with covering latter. and all done now.

When sending passports for OCI stamping for a family, all passports and docs can be sent together with ONLY 1 prepaid special delivery envelope (SDE) for returning passports.

Last week we sent 3 passports for stamping with 3 SDE and they were all returned in one SDE and the other two SDE were also returned in post along with the passports.

yes, only required one envelop no need to send individual for each person but in your case if you returned to post office non used envelopes they will returned your money because you haven't used yet
