Spoke to one of the ladies on 08706067766 to check the status and she said let me check if there is something going Out ...her system was down. .so she checked from another department and advised me there is something out for delivery and shall be with you in the nexr few days...

Hmm.....not a clear answer ? Has any one got an update like that ???

I have a similar issue. I had emailed Nationality Helpdesk as I didnt receive an acknowledgement letter after they successfully took out the fee (on 27/01/2014 - second attempt). The response I got was as below

An acknowledgement letter will be processed shortly. If you do not hear anything after 14th February please contact us and we will chase this up for you.
------------------
I am not sure whether there will be another acknowledgement letter or directly an approval letter? Anyone been in the same situation before?

I have exactly the same problem. My daughter payment was deducted on 27-01-2014 and no acknowledgement received. I sent an email to the enquirers email id, but received the default auto response. i tried to call 01516725626 but unable to talk to anyone ,fully automated replies. I am not sure what to do next.

Hi everyone! Thanks for such a fantastic forum and the incredible support. I'm a newcomer and a November applicant who is beside herself with impatience, as I'm sure you can all identify with! My timeline is as follows:

Eligibility criteria: 10 years including 5 years ILR+UK Masters degree
Method of application: Recorded Delivery
Date of receipt by UKBA: 19th November 2013 (Royal Mail tracking service)
Date of debit of fees: 13th January 2014
Date of receipt of acknowledgement:
Date of receipt of approval:
Date of Ceremony:

I can honestly say the wait is excruciating!!! But I'm keeping hope alive!

Thanks amity. I just called 08 number mentioned earlier in this thread and spoke to a person. She said that there was no case reference assigned to my daughter application and i can use the previous HO application reference(previous tier-1 dependent) for any further queries. I also confirmed my daughter's correspondence address as they used to send letters to previous address during last year application process. I now have no option but to wait.

Mine is a slightly different case then. I already have the HO reference which they sent when the first payment failed. I did receive an acknowledgement letter asking for an alternate payment. I was not sure whether I will receive another ack letter after the payment was successful.

I phoned the HO twice today the first time I have been told that they are looking on it and I will have answer very soon the second time I have been told that my application it has not been allocated to a team yet .....!
Which one should I listen to lol???

just be patient bro... I dont know why all people are stressed.... everyone of us waited either 3 or 6 year,so one or 2 more months arent gonna add up..
