For all applicants after mid Oct-2013... here is an interesting chart... after gathering enough data for Oct applicants, I came up with below chart:

Where,
Y-axis shows number of days on average taken
X-axis shows application received by HO date

Fees - No of days on average taken for deduction of fees
Fees to Approval - No of days on average taken for approval after deduction of fees
Approval - No of days on average taken for Approval from the receipt of application by HO

Chart clearly shows how last week before new rules was... and just to point out.. these are average numbers.. for some applicants it has already been very hard wait...

It will be very interesting to see how Nov applicants got affected numerically after Oct flood. As soon as I have enough data for Nov, I'll post similar chart for Nov too!

I must mention, for all the charts I posted on this forum, jotter deserves equal credit. Big thanks for jotter!!

Date of approval: 01/02/2014 (Received in post 03/02/2014)

I rang contact centre yesterday and the guy said i should contact when its more than 6 months.so only option left wait for another 2 months and 10 days for update. Its really stressing me out.....................

Dear don't take tension , I know it's frastating but we can not do any thing instead of wait,
One day your surprise post will come :)

Ps in journay of BC what have did some innocent mistake which we did not notice in our life but HO is doing further checks , hope for the best :)

From my experience every time I ring HO someone else answers the phone and after being persistent I eventually get the info I want (most of the times).
I am sometimes wrong.

I used NationalityHelpdesk@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk normally HO replied me next day.
MISS ABC LOL she is HO employee MIss N Rafiq she replied me every time :)
Yesterday and today my post man was ill hopefully he will come tomorrow :)

Please let me know who applied in OCTOBER and haven't received approval yet. Please also mention what date did you put your application? This will give the support who are still awaiting their approval from October.

They are aproving December applications and can't allocate case worker yet for October applicants. What the hell are they doing up there. :evil: :twisted:

they ask for reference number, full name, date of birth and nationality.

Yeah. Sent them a bunch of emails- always reply the decision has not yet been made. I have just sent another email asking to tell me if at least a case worker has been assigned to my case. I think there is no point calling as it will be yhe same nonsense.

08706067766 option 3 (may have to retry 5-10 times before getting through), wait 5-6 mins before getting to an advisor.
