Progressing To FLR(M) and ILR While Working Abroad

Through your guidance, we were able to succeed with the Spouse visa application. In preparations for future steps ahead, there are clarifications need to make in order to prepare early enough for what lies ahead and therefore sought your assistance.
My work takes me on journey a lot for an average of 6wks and i get equivalent break of 6wks off work without pay. And there is the first hurdle i.e. At time of FLR(M) how to meet up with financial requirement with an employment of 6wks intervals with no income. How do one sort this if we assume that partner's income is unavailable or not meeting up to £18,600?
Also, cohabitation requirements can be met easily because it is due to employment solely that I travel, so while not actually around, bills are getting paid, correspondence with government agencies keeps ongoing so documents for cohabitation evidence keeps getting generated. However, since spending more than 180 days out of the country learnt no tax payment to HMRC, can this have any effect on FLR(M) application even if it is my spouse income only that will be used? And looking ahead, how will this lead on to affect ILR and BC when the time comes?

Unless you have the sufficient cash savings or your partner working you couldn't be able to meet the financial requirement. If that opportunity is giving you heavier income/other benefits which you cannot get while being employed in UK then maybe you can avail it for now but return back at least 6 months before applying and starts working for an UK employer.

Thank you seagul, you hit the nail on the head, the opportunity gives better outside UK. The option you gave taken onboard as regards FLR(M).

Noting that on the spouse route no absence limit applies so it's OK for my continued work abroad. Looking further ahead after getting FLR(M) and restart the work arrangements as before. Though no tax or NI paid but all my income comes back into the UK and used in the economy by me and family on daily living, council tax and other bills, VAT etc.

If rules remain same, how will this affect at time for ILR? Do I have to be tax resident paying taxes to HMRC and NI to be considered for ILR? Can the work arrangements affect chances for ILR?

A spouse visa holder is expected to live & settled with his family/sponsor in UK which wont be demonstrated by doing so and also you can be refused on grounds that you have no insurmountable obstacles in adjusting outside the UK. Despite there is no absence limit but how about if in future UKVI dont accept those cohabitation evidences when you were not present for longer time then?

They dont care that. Many members living on entrepreneur/investor visas who brought huge funds/investment into UK still got refused.

Your points are well expressed and understood. I live with family, only going out to work and same day I finish work, get on a plane to Hearthrow to be back living settled with my family.

In real life it may not be possible for an ordinary person unless you buy/hire your own plane

It literally happens like that. The longest transit ever had from work was from SE Asia to London all within 30hrs. The logistics quite top notch.
