Hi, as a director of a company, can an employee of mine who works as an Office Manager be my referee ? Thanks.

If he holds a British passport and not as a professional.

Yes he holds a British passport and would be considered a professional (Manager of a VAT registered company) as per this list:

I just wanted to obtain clarity on using an employee as a referee. Thanks.

Likely not an 'Office Manager' which is really just a 'Facilities Person' or administrator. By Manager it means someone who has decision making and influence in a business etc, i.e. HR Manager, Managing Director, Regional Manager etc.
