Rental Agreement for Dependent Visa for UK

Hi,

I have moved to UK recently (Intra-company-transfer). My company would also sponsor my spouse's dependent visa. I am currently living in a shared accommodation and have a letter from the owner stating my residency.

Could you please help me if the rental agreement is also required to apply for my spouse's dependent visa or would the letter for shared accommodation suffice? If just your partner it is ok, with the letter supported by your sponsor. If comes with children, the HO will also consider the space of living is humane for children or not.

We will move into a new place once my spouse moves to the UK is finalised, but until then I would keep staying in a shared place.
