Required clarification on Cooling period - Tier 2 General Visa

Hello Team,

I was staying at UK for almost 3 years in a Tier 2 General visa where I returned back to India the previous month.

Now I'm in a situation of getting another job (different employer) at UK, who's willing to sponsor me. In that regards does the cooling period rules applies to me or am I allowed to apply for Tier 2 General as the employer being a different one to my current one.

As you left the UK, you are now subject to the 12 month cooling off period unless you are being offered a salary in excess of £159k.
