Right of Abode Certificate on New Passport

Post by juliemjohn71 » Tue Jan 08, 2019 8:38 am

Dear Sir/Madam

My niece (currently aged 10 years) has the Right of Abode Certificate issued/stamped on her current Indian passport which has now expired.

The new passport is only valid till 2025.

Does she still have to transfer the Right of Abode Certificate to the new passport or Npt do it and get it done when she applies for her further new passport after 2025.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thank you
Julie

Right of abode expires when the passport does. She will need to apply for a new one on her new passport.
