The Schengen application form is pretty straightforward really. Have you had a look at one already?

I don't quite see why. The form can typically be downloaded in different languages, at least from some of the Schengen embassies. The questions and infos to be given will be the same.

Or are you referring to the circumstances of the OP which may affect the outcome?

Hey,

I am not that good in paper works  since my parents are always doing the work for me always  .

Like for instance (I know it sounds stupid but anyways its always better to ask than to fill in without knowing anything)

Now it says Surname (family name), Surname at birth, First name. These fields should be filled in with my fiancee's name right. Not with mine. Everything related with name, address, employer, work, school and etc is related to him right??? not to me??

Sorry for the stupid questions

Necessarily, the person who applies for the visa will need to fill in his/her information. And to avoid any confusing: you referred to the applicant as 'him'. Are you actually talking about your fiancé (man)?

Step-by-step may be bordering legal grey area. From what I understand, at least in some countries, this is the privilege of lawyers. At the end of the form the applicant will need to declare by signature anyway that he/she understands the implications. A good time for you to learn doing it yourself...

Your fiancé (not fiancée as that would indicate a woman obviously) is the visa applicant and his informations is required. Information from you as the inviting person will only be needed for questions 31 and also 33 if you are the sponsor.

No! Getting a Schengen visa is NOT easy if in Denmark

Post by eldane » Tue May 25, 2010 7:56 pm

Believe me I am Danish and I know very well. I have EXTENSIVE knowlegde of inviting fiancees to Denmark.

The asylum group
The following countries currently comprise the asylum group:

Afghanistan, Algeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Iran, Iraq, Kosovo, Nigeria, Pakistan, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria and stateless Palestinians. However, special conditions apply to Iraqi and Somali citizens (see below). Stateless persons other than Palestinians will be assessed based on their country of residence.

Citizens from these countries are generally only granted visas if they are spouses/registered partners/cohabiting partners, children under the age of 18 or parents of the person residing in Denmark. Cohabiting partners are defined as persons who can document that they have lived together with the person they wish to visit in Denmark in a permanent relationship at a shared address for at least 18 months.

However
For applicants from the entire immigration group, immigration authorities have the right to render a visa contingent on an economic guarantee of DKK 58,603 (aporx £ 8000.00 or USD 12000.00). However, no economic guarantee is required with visa applications from spouses/registered partners/cohabiting partners, children under the age of 18 or parents.

Based on an individual assessment, the Immigration Service may chose to demand an economic guarantee from the person that the applicant intends to visit in Denmark. This may be the case in instances where the applicant's connection to his or her country of origin is uncertain, due for example to the applicant's lack of employment or young age. This may also be the case in instances where a visa applicant wishes to visit a boyfriend/girlfriend or fiancé/fiancée in Denmark, and where there is a risk that the applicant intends to seek permanent or long-term residency in Denmark or another Schengen country
