"Tier 1 or Global Talent dependants" is the route that must be chosen when filling out the form SET(O). When asked about the person you are relying on, the details of their ILR can be entered. An ILR application refusal will have NO effect on their current visa validity.
Hi, I m trying to get priority service for ILR on Adult Settlement Adult Relative for last few days but no luck only giving me an option of Standard service does home office offer priority service on 10 year partner route Settlement Adult Relative ? thanks No. Private life route does not appear to ...
Please DO NOT start a new post and stick to this topic for all your questions. You need to have spent 12 months under the current ROUTE , not the current visa. This is clear in the relevant guide: The applicant must also have had permission on their current immigration route for at least 12 months o...
Hi, I have worked in the UK for last 5 years under Skilled Worker visa and now I have started for filling ILR application Set(O) form for applying my ILR. There are two questions in the "Immigration Details" section which I am not sure about - "Do you have any Home Office reference n...
Sole parental responsibility means that one parent has abdicated or abandoned parental responsibility, and the remaining parent is exercising sole control in setting and providing the day-to-day direction for the child’s welfare. Children do NOT have any minimum residence requirement for ILR and the...
So will 19-20 weeks payslips be fine to apply under Category A having earned over £10,000? Or do I HAVE to submit all 26 weeks payslips even on some weeks where I earned gross £0.00 (tax refunds were issued), other weeks, no payslips produced at all. I really do not want to apply under Cat B; it's ...
It seems you like spending lots of money on solicitors rather than reading the guide which makes things very clear. I would like you to look at page 26 which says the same thing for category A. What I quoted is about how the annualised salary needs to be calculated when you are in non-salaried emplo...
Thank you, Simba. You say UKVI may ask for evidence of residence - can this be just their passport stamps since they have not really been staying here much in the last few years although not away for more than 2 years? Secondly, I understand what you say about BRPs taking more than 6 months - do yo...
Dear Zimba, furthermore, in relation to the post you referred me to, you referred to "Dependent family members in work routes", where the following two paragraphs are stated: 5-year permission requirement: partners Those who are required to complete a qualifying period must have spent a c...
@zimba, many thanks for referring me to this post. Your interpretation is informative but my concern is that this can be confusing to the caseworker. I am also concerned that immigration solicitors advise against combining period of dependent partner on student visa. So, are you aware of any case g...
Some unnecessary documents, old BRPS, passports over 5 years, etc not needed. No need to send any evidence for the British child.
You also you need life in the UK
You do not need to upload empty pages of passports
Only send passport copies covering the last 5 years
No need to provide your finances if the wife qualifies on her own
No need at all to send any pictures
We cannot tell you why or how or on what grounds. It could be due to many reasons. UKVI either has a backlog or they need to verify a few things or investigate something regarding this case before making a decision. I am afraid you can only wait and see
Hi there, I'm due to upload my documents for ILR. However, it says to upload my old passport which I don't have and has been lost for ages. I do have a passport which was issued in 2016. I came to the UK as a dependent on my mother who was on a student visa in 2005. I lost my passport then applied ...
Hello. I came to the UK as a student in 2015. I claimed asylum in 2018, and was granted in 2019. I now have to apply for my ILR. There is a question : When did you first enter the UK? Does that mean when I came as a student? or when I claimed asylum? Another question says have I spent more than 90 ...
Did you submit a payslip that was dated after the date of your application ?
Note that the payslip should be dated up to 28 BEFORE the date of application and NOT after it.
This has been difficult to properly interpret due to recent changes to the rules which now impose the requirements under Appendix Continuous Residence. You can see this under paragraph GT 31.1 of Immigration Rules Appendix Global Talent, which says: Qualifying period requirement for settlement as a ...
