Re: Proof of residence with PR status

My husband only became BC 2 years ago, would it still be okay to provide only the last 3 years residence documentation or shall I do 5 years to be on the safe side? Also I was unemployed between 2014-2017, would that be a problem even with a PR status?

Many thanks,

Barbara

Re: Proof of residence with PR status

Not sure how to edit post, PR received in Jan 2013, not 2014.

Thanks

Proof of residence with PR status

Hello, I am an Italian citizen living in the UK since 2006. I am about to apply for naturalisation and I understand I have to show proof of 5 years residence. I have got my PR in 2014 (EEA3) and I will be sending that, however I'm wondering if I have to provide proof of residence for the last 4 year...

Hello again, I've received the CoA for my husband (EEA4) about a month after the application, no sign of my EEA3 PR so far. I know it can take longer than 2.5 months however I'm wondering if I could ring them to ask for my supporting docs to be sent back, just the P60s is what I need. This is becaus...

Thank you all! I just sent all the papers, in the end I sent a few bills plus 1 bank statement per year per each of us. I didn't send my husband's proof of employment as it's not required after all and I have sent all my P60s etc..., I enclosed a cover letter as per your advise and I guess it should...

Thank you so much for your responses, much appreciated! We only have joint council tax bills covering the first 2 years, we don't have a joint bank account, which is why I was thinking I should maybe send our bank statements as this would also prove we lived at the same address throughout the 5 year...

EEA3/4 missing bills, uncomplete proof of residence

Hello, I'm about to send EEA3 and EEA4 and I've got a dilemma. I'm Italian, married to a non EEA since 2004 and we both live in the UK since May 2007 (EEA1 an EEA2 was successfully completed in October 2011). I have been working non stop during the past 5 years and I've got both P60s and employment ...

That's great, we are going to do exactly the same, I just have to pick up the translated copy of our marriage certificate and hopefully tomorrow we will sent everything out!

Just one question: did you send both EEA1 and EEA2 forms in the same envelope?

Thanks

I called the HO and they said that I should have it translated at the Tunisian Embassy (we got married in Tunisia and my husband is Tunisian) so I rang the embassy but they said that they don't provide this service and they don't have official translator either. I ckeched some translations companies...

Marriage certificate for EEA2

My husband is going to send the EEA2 application and he's currently in the UK with a family permit. I know that we have to send our marriage certificate but I'm wondering if we have to translate it first, (the original is both in French and Arabic, we also have it in Italian). We did send the origin...

I have just one more question...well two, actually! :) I emailed the embassy but got no reply... I need to know if I can make the online application for him from the UK and then send him the receipt he has to sign along with other documents such us my UK bank statement. The second question is: can h...

Unfortunately we couldn't do the application for his Italian citizenship as he needs to go to Tunisia to issue some documents and have them translated from the Italian Embassy in Tunisia and then stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (something like that).Anyway he just got his Carta di Soggior...

Thank you very much for your answer, John! I am travelling before my husband because I have some job offers to consider and once I'm set with job and accommodation it will be better for him to come. He's also working in Italy, so before leaving his job here, I would prefer to look for something for ...

EEA Family Permit info

Good Morning, I'm Italian and will be moving to the UK by the end of this month to live and work there. My husband is Tunisian, we've been married for three years and he's legally living in Italy. He will join me in April/May 2007 so I guess he needs to apply for a EEA family permit which would have...
