Re: PROOF OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT FOR CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION

I apologise for not using paragraphs to make my querry readable, and thank you for your prompt reply. After answering ''no'' to the question whether my degree meets the requirements for the English language, the next question did not even give me the opportunity to say I will say use my B1 ceetifica...

Re: SHOULD I DECLARE ALMOST 10 YEAR OLD DRIVING CONVICTION?

Thank you CRO01 for alerting me about multiple posts, I did not know multiple posts are not permitted. I created the second post because I realised only the first part of my question was answered, which of course I'm very grateful for. The second part about whether or not to declare the driving with...

Another issue is that even if I will declare it, it has been so long that i do not remember the exact date. All i remember...

PROOF OF LIVING IN UK

Dear immigration experts I am due to apply for British naturalisation and in the application forms there's a question about showing evidence of living in the UK for the past 3 or 5 years depending on the route of application. Re: UNIVERSAL CREDIT AND NATURALISATION

To be clear about the situation, I did not intentioanally mean to fraudulently collect money from public funds. I genuinely thought i qualified based on my conditions at the time, and reccommendation from a friend. My earnings were barely enough to get me by, I had credit card debts and other debts ...

Re: UNIVERSAL CREDIT AND NATURALISATION

I am not a single parent in the sense that my child lives with me. My son lives with his mother and only visits me from time to time. Then you are not a single parent at all as your son lives with his mother. Your claim for Universal Credit should have been made as a single adult. I made this very ...

Re: UNIVERSAL CREDIT AND NATURALISATION

Let me also add that shortly after my UC application, I moved from the multiple shared occupation into a two bedroom flat and also got a second job that pays more. All I want to do now is re-pay the advance UC payments I received and but when I phoned to pay it off I was told my UC account needs to ...

UNIVERSAL CREDIT AND NATURALISATION

I am eligible for naturalisation after being granted ILR and I intend to apply for naturalisation soon. My issue is, I applied for universal credit as a single parent to help rent a two bedroom flat and also advanced payment a few months ago. I was granted advanced payment of about £330 but did not ...

Re: GENERAL VISITOR VISA QUERRY

I am the only named tenant and occupant of the two bedroom flat, which consists of two double bedrooms and a living room, which is open plan with Spam. If I say i will accomodate them, it will mean i will occupy one bedroom and my sister and family of 4 will occupy the other room, which I fear may b...

DURATION OF STAY FOR A VISITOR VISA HOLDER

Hi experienced immigration experts, I have a query on behalf of a family member with a 2 year standard visitor visa. I'm aware as a visitor visa holder, one is not allowed to stay past 6 months at a time. What happens if a visitor enters UK but leaves the UK within the 6 months maximum allowed stay ...

Dear forum members, can someone from a commonwealth country on a masters degree student visa to UK bring her mum to the UK as a dependent? If yes, will the mother have a right to work or do business?

FLR(FP) ADEQUATE ACCOMMODATION QUERRY

Hi Immigration experts I'm asking this question on behalf of my cousin. I searched keywords for topics remotely relating to his situation but did not find any hence my decision to open a new topic/ thread. My cousin is about to switch from 10 ywar family route to the 5 year route after he split up f...

Re: B1 TEST FOR ILR

It could be deliberate, it could also be an oversight. I have read elsewhere on this same forum where someone had a similar problem. He was initially granted 10 year family route as an overstayer, then he successfully switched to the 5 year during his first 2.5 year renewal and during his second 2.5...

Re: B1 TEST FOR ILR

@Vinny that’s so true and rather unfortunate. Applicants who are on the 5 year route to settlement will have to be on the 10 year route if they apply for settlement too early.

Re: B1 TEST FOR ILR

Ok thank you for the clarification. You have calmed my nerves a lot :D . I actually have never applied on form Flr(m). My very first successful application was granted based on my British wife and son in 2012 on the 10 year route, renewable every 2.5 years. It just so happened that prior to my first...

Re: B1 TEST FOR ILR

Dear CR001 Thank you for your time in answering my question but I’m rather a bit confused here. Does that mean even if I should apply for an extension FLR (FP) I’ll be eligible for Settlement 10 years from my last application which was in 2018 and not a continuation of my original 10 year route gran...
