Re: ECM Finally agree to review our case

@Ballmigirl17 I have read a lot of your posts and would like to share my experience with you. My Indian wife's visa has been recently refused. She is 5 months pregnant. I can understand what you are going through. As Londoner007 somewhere said "gone are the days when being a British Citizen meant ...

REASONS FOR REFUSAL ROA On 26.09.2017 you made an application for entry clearance to the UK under Appendix FM to the ...

Re: Re-applying the spouse visa

Hi there, I have been trying to understand the application process for reapplying the spouse visa to the uk but failed to find a forum that would answer my query. I have been denied the spouse visa lately and so me and the husband(he is a british citizen)have decided to put a new application in few ...

This documents clarifies A LOT of things. I think we wouldnt bother applying for neither ROA nor Visit visa now. I would travel instead.

Thank you very much! :)

Re: Spouse visa refused/ Child to be born in India

The father being british does not automatically mean a child is British. You need to prove child is British at immigration ports such as with British passport or ROA. You just said something that is giving me hope. Having an Indian passport for my child is a strong factor claiming proving s/he is ...

Re: Spouse visa refused/ Child to be born in India

You sort of answered your own question - Indian passport but that alone wont allow your kid to travel to UK. If you are undecided about where you will settle then perhaps making a decision on that will help you shape the solutions required for your dilemma. Its not always what you want and what is ...

Re: Spouse visa refused/ Child to be born in India

Londoner007 , thanks for replying. We DO NOT want ROA/COE certificate or kids British passport as both of these could take well over 6 months. It took(COE) 8 months for a friend's child i know. We want indian passport because A)I want my child to be able to travel immediately after birth, Indian ...

Re: Spouse visa refused/ Child to be born in India

@BrettHodges. Sorry I forgot to mention, Your IHS surcharge is automatically refunded within 6 weeks of your application being refused. I agree with Lulu65 . I wont even bother appealing. As in Lulus65's case, it took him 2 years to win the appeal and yet he is still waiting for the passport. Bit of ...

Re: Spouse visa refused/ Child to be born in India

Thank for your reply pal but it doesnt answer my question. I disagree with some of it too. A child born abroad CAN register(its optional though) as British citizen(£150 fee) even if the child is automatically British but it is generally advisable to apply for British passport first from abroad. We ...

Re: Spouse visa refused: should we appeal or start again?

Hi Pal, My wife had her visa refused last week pretty much for same reason from Chandigarh. "No evidence provided for contact between me and her". We didnt provide photos or call logs and they didnt contact us before refusing either. As far as I am aware appeal will take ages and even then they can ...

Spouse visa refused/ Child to be born in India

Hi all, I am new here. I am naturalised British and my wife is Indian. My pregnant wife's spouse visa has just been refused while her long term visit visa is still valid for another 7 months. Spouse visa is refused by our mistakes. We are not sure if Home Ofiice will allow my wife to enter UK on ...
