I might have not been clear. When I say ask I meant apply.
If I understand correctly I can apply for a family visa to stay with my partner (after we get married), and then I would apply for ILR. Right?
The rest is just a question my partner asked and at the moment I don't need to know anyway.

I'm still Tier 1 GE and we are getting everything ready to get married (Registry and all). It's just that I could ask for an extension of T1GE or see if we should ask for a leave to...

One of the requirements is: - have lived in the UK for at least 3 years before the date of your application We met as I was a student living in the UK (Tier 4 visa). Marrying under Tier 1 graduate entrepreneur visa

Me and my British girlfriend want get married. I'm under Tier 1 GE visa. Could I get married in the UK with her under this visa or do I need to apply for a different one?
