EU treaty rights revoked- moving to UK on Tier 2

All, Grateful if you could help. My Eu treaty rights visa was revoked with all marriage of convenience allegations. I put up an appeal and have temporary stamp since then. My question is if I move to UK on TIER 2 (work permit) . Would my above immigration history in Ireland impact me in UK? During m...

Re: Employe Permit and Stamp 4 ( Latest Updates

@littler, Could you please share your opinion, if someone on temporary stamp 4 from EU treaty review and the EU case is alleged marriage of convenience. If that person manage to get employment permit, will INIS allow him to get IRP card based on work permit given that existing stamp 4 from EU review...

Re: Stamp 4 to stamp 1 ( temporary 6 months)

Thanks finalversion.

Just one more question if you don’t mind. Did you request stamp 1 recently like in 2019 or in 2020. The reason I am asking is that INIS maybe flexible these days due to Covid 19 and may understand our problems.

Re: Stamp 4 to stamp 1 ( temporary 6 months)

My solicitor said there is no harm applying for temporary stamp 1 in order to apply for work permit, as applying for work permit based on stamp 4 would be a refusal,
So I think it’s worth to give a try

Thanks finalversion, so you think there are no chances for temporary stamp 1 while I have stamp 4 from review ?
Did you try to get to temporary stamp 1 ? If so what was their response?

Re: Stamp 4 to stamp 1 ( temporary 6 months)

Hi littler,
Apologies if I was not so clear.

You cannot apply for work permit with stamp 4, so you need a permission from inis to apply for work permit . Inis usually gives 6 months temporary stamp 1 and then you apply work permit with department of enterprise

well Student scheme came after 10 years , who knew back then that there will be students scheme in 2018. Also how many of them got visa from scheme ? Only 2000 . Rest either changed their status and left the country. And 7 years are not always enough if you want to complete your full education plus ...

Re: chenchooliah V Minister For Justice - Important Judgement On Rights Of EU Citizen Spouses.

@finepaddy. Question is not that student changed the status to eufam from student. Question is what forced the students to take this step All got married in same years. It is because minister came up with maximum 7 years policy on student visa, which destroyed majority of students life, ruined their...

I hope Chenchooliah judgement help everyone. Let’s see what’s the inis policy would be on Chenchooliah judgement. They cannot drag everyone to marriage of convenience and deny them Chenchooliah case. But let’s see how it goes. Any update when inis will announce Chenchooliah policy

Sorry Karen I was not clear above. There is luximon and balachad judgement, where Supreme Court gave the judgement in favour of student who came b/w 2005 to 2010. There was a scheme introduced by inis for these students. In that scheme inis excluded those students who change their status. But Suprem...

I know the guy deported last week was here over 17 years.. truth is department has turned barbaric. It's humilia...
