Breach of visa condition- FLR (M) Partner visa

Good Afternoon I need some general advice. After a FLR (M) Partner visa has been granted, one of the visa conditions is that the applicant must not 'recourse to public funds'. If the applicant without notifying the sponsor (British Citizen), submits a Universal Credit claim, am I right to assume ...

Spouse visa- prevent spouse from returning to UK.

I brought my partner to the UK on a spouse visa. We had problems so he shifted to Yorkshire and worked there. He stayed there for more than 2 years. Both families agreed to this because there was no legal separation, just a temporary arrangement. Conveniently for his FLR(M), he reconciled with me ...

Genuine and subsisting marriage

Hello I need some advice for a friend. Her husband came to the UK in July 2021 on a spouse visa. Due to personal issues, they never stayed together for the initial 2 years so he lived in London and worked there. Recently in Aug 2023 he has moved in with her. His 2.5 year visa expires somewhere early ...

Re: New threshold and savings

As is being posted daily now, we dont know. We only what what everyone else does based on the media reports and statement by the government. You will need to check for updates once the processes through parliament have been completed and any potential new rules and effective date announced. Thank ...

New threshold and savings

Hello I am aware that there is no current update on how the new threshold of £38,700 will affect renewals. As far as savings are concerned, if a spouse visa was granted via the £62,500 route and the visa needs extending before 29th February after 2.5 years of stay, will the new threshold have any i ...

Failure to make quarantine payment

Hi My spouse came from a red list country on a spouse visa last year. He had to quarantine in a mandatory hotel. I have received a letter from the Department of Health and Social Care, that he had failed to make the payment of £1750. Payment never went through. It says that failure to make payment ...

Re: Deception and curtailment

These are all minor errors/issues. You really should think carefully about accusing someone of deception when you are the associated party to this application too. You need to complete the end of relationship form and submit. That is why there is a specific form. Sending multiple emails all over ...

Re: Deception and curtailment

This was the wording of my email address, any thoughts: Regarding visa application: GWF....... I had applied for my husband's spouse visa and the biometrics were done on the 23rd of January 2021. My spouse collected his passport on 3rd June 2021 and his visa for Entry Clearance was granted. However ...

Re: Deception and curtailment

I have heard that the HO are very slow. If I don't get a response within 15wd, I will have to make another enquiry. I think it also depends on who deals with your enquiry. Some people are not bothered and will not do anything to resolve whilst some are quiet strict and will take immediate action.

Re: Deception and curtailment

Do you all think this email will lead to a successful result?

In your opinion what do you all think the HO will do? I don't want to be hopeful and then get disappointed.

Deception and curtailment

My previous topic 'Deportation' has been locked so I am opening a new topic. First of all, thank you for all your replies. It is good to read different perspectives. I want to know that if my spouse is in the UK, are there any chances that his entry clearance can be cancelled on the basis that ...

Re: Deportation

All you can do is just to report your relationship to UKVI and stop living with or seeing him that's it and rest leave him and UKVI alone to deal with it. the question is why are you in such a rash? deporting direct from hotel really? do you feel unsafe or something you are not telling? you sound ...

Re: Deportation

If I report an immigration crime- will that be of any help? There is an option on there 'lied on application' and also the service is anonymous. The only issue is how long will it take to take action ' could it be done before he starts residing with me and secondly, will the police arrest him or ...

Re: Deportation

I have sent numerous emails to UKVI to make them aware of these errors but they say nothing can be done and they are not even allowed to give me the caseworker details. Have you been coerced/forced to marry and sponsor the visa application? No, I wasn't forced. I made a poor judgement and now I am ...

Re: Deportation

If I inform the HO, what are the chances he will be deported from the hotel? Unlikely. The process is not that quick tbh. Alternatively, if I report this as a crime to HO, how long will this process take? Our communication was very weak and we had only a few pics sent for the application but ...

Deportation

Hello, my spouse was granted entry clearance on 3rd June 2021. He is now travelling from a red list country and is quarantining in a government hotel. I want to now end this relationship. I know that I need to inform the HO to curtail his visa but this will be a long process. If I inform the HO ...

Can someone please help. My case seems to be getting complicated with each passing day. Biometrics were done on 23rd Jan 2021 but have had no response. Re: Paid enquiry to UK visa

Re: Paid enquiry to UK visa

Yes, the biometrics appointment was on the 23rd of Jan 2021 so the 60 day period ended on 24th of March. No you have recently just completed 60WD on 20/04/2021 so therefore you can escalate your application now. It is not every country who gets a decision made via email and if you have not been ...
