Failure to make quarantine payment

Hi

My spouse came from a red list country on a spouse visa last year. He had to quarantine in a mandatory hotel.

I have received a letter from the Department of Health and Social Care, that he had failed to make the payment of £1750. Payment never went through.

It says that failure to make payment can result in debt collection activity. Is there a risk that his spouse visa can get affected, and he be deported?
