Re: Consent forms no longer required?

You need to submit the consent forms! Hello. I had my biometrics appointment on August 12th and I hadn't uploaded the consent forms. I pointed this out to the employee at UKVCAS but she said I do not need to submit those. I am yet to receive a response from Furthernationalityenquiries@homeoffice.go...

Re: Forgot to upload verification consent form (yes, another one of those)

Sorry I cannot answer the question directly but I specifically had this one printed and asked my caseworker to scan it at the UKVCAS biometrics appointment but she refused saying it was not required? This happened last month and I have still not been requested to send the consent form. Not sure what...

Re: Old payslips and HMRC

This is really frustrating! Not only I paid £1330 for the application, now I feel forced to pay an extra 10% of that for a "free" appointment and I have been given only 2 months to do so! I feel I should have been at least been able to have my biometrics taken prior to submitting the application for...

Re: Old payslips and HMRC

Also, can you tell me what period of time does a payslip cover? I have a payslip from exactly 5 years ago, but then the next ones come 3-4 months after it. Would that gap be a problem? A payslip generally covers a month or 4 weeks (P60 covers a tax year) - suggest you collect as many documents as y...

Re: Old payslips and HMRC

Hello, I have just received an email from my previous employer saying they do not keep a record of my payslips while I was employed and that I should have downloaded them from the company's portal while I was still working there. I am now unsure how I can prove my residence. Wouldn't HO normally ha...

UKVCAS no standard appointment option?

I have received an email saying I will need to book a UKVCAS appointment. When browsing through the portal, it has left me very confused as to what dates are available. Generally, nothing shows as available and where it does, it just makes no sense: https://i.postimg.cc/J7BQ7LwJ/Screenshot-from-2022...

Re: Old payslips and HMRC

Hello, I am still waiting for confirmation that I need to attend a biometrics appointment and as such I am trying to get all my documents ready. However, getting a hold of my previous employer has proved fruitless and as such, I am having trouble obtaining my old payslips for 2017-2019. Do I need t...

Re: Can I use IELTS from 2013 for naturalisation application

If I recall correctly, there was a question during the application process which asks you if you had to prove your language skills as a part of your IRL application. If that one was successful, I am sure they will keep a record of it.

Re: Can I travel for 4 months after applying for Naturalisation?

From what I have read in this forum, after you submit your application there are no restrictions if you wish to travel. Bear in mind, I am not an expert and I am applying for citizenship myself so let's just wait someone else reiterate this but I am fairly confident that you can use your ILR while w...

Re: Accidentally submitted some documents on UKVCAS portal (sopra steria)

So I paid for submitting my naturalisation AN application and gov.uk redirected me to book a biometric appointment. There, it was written that ukvcas will first need to check if I can use the app but in the meantime I started uploading my documents. At some point I left the PC, so when I came back ...

Re: Accidentally submitted some documents on UKVCAS portal (sopra steria)

Sorry for extra post, cannot edit my old one:

I did manage to submit my passport photo as that was under the required documents and it was the first one i uploaded, but I did not upload enough payslips/ct bills to confirm 5-year residence before submitting.

Re: Accidentally submitted some documents on UKVCAS portal (sopra steria)

The submit button is only available once. Anything else you upload will be submitted at your UKCVAS appointment So that means there is definitely no chance I can skip travelling to the UKVCAS centre, and submitting my biometrics information over the app is not considered an appointment? I need to k...

Re: Citizenship and CSI before obtaining EUSS

UK wrongly insisted on Comprehensive Sickness Insurance for years, EU court finds . Thanks. EU court has no power over the UK Home Office, is this not true? I mean, since the UK is no longer a EU member, what a random court elsewhere on the planet thinks has no relevance... Does this have real impl...

Re: Citizenship and CSI before obtaining EUSS

I also have another question regarding my Settled Status. I obtained it in late July 2021. I am in the UK since 2014. Do I still need to wait until the end of this month to apply for citizenship (when I will have a one complete year with Settled Status), or I need to wait until that date? It sounds ...

Citizenship and CSI before obtaining EUSS

Hello, I am an EU citizen and I am in the process of preparing my application for naturalisation (AN). I have been in the UK continuously during the past 5 years, and I will have had EUSS Settled Status for a year by the end of this month when I am planning to apply for citizenship. However, at a po...
