I dont how you got the idea that appointments over the phone are not allowed. People regularly get appointments over the phone. Have I ever told the appointments over phone are not allowed? OP's msg.. Secondly, I called the UKBA number to clarify the same and she told me that I will qualify 28 days...

I had been refused to give a PEO appointment over phone when I made the call exactly on a date that they would release appointments for a date I wanted with same reason . Call and book the appointment as a family slot if online does not show any family slot.

If you book 2 separate slots, then you may end up paying more. ( I am sure U will pay more)

I called them yesterday. :-)

Need to wait for 2 more weeks for phone booking. Phone booking slots will be realesed only 6 weeks in advance.

I have started looking online for a slot as soon as the 'commencing week' is shown in the drop down list.

If you book an online appointment with just your name shown, Can't you take your dependant documents/passports with you to apply to their ILR aswell even if they dont come along with you? if you book with only your name that's a sole application. A family application is where you have dependants on...
